Nikki Dubose is a model, television host, actress, writer, and philanthropist.

Early life

Nikki was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and is of Brazilian and French descent. Nikki was raised in an abusive household and went through fifteen years of mental, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Nikki studied Communications at Southwestern College and Mesa College in San Diego, California for two years.

Modeling

Nikki DuBose is represented with Elite Model Management in Miami and IModel and Talent in Los Angeles. Nikki's modeling career started in 2007 when she won an international competition for Marias Angels. Since then she has modeled for Juicy Couture, Skinny Bitch Swimwear, Trina Turk, Annette International, It Jeans, Jovani, Ed Hardy's Crystal Rock Collection, and many more. She was featured in the July and August 2008 edition of Esquire Magazine, Turkey. She was also featured in an article on Maxim.com. She will soon be featured in the June 2009 issue of Glamour magazine, Latin America, and FHM magazine.

Television

After being approached at Fashion Week Los Angeles 2008 by the general manager of XLTV Worldwide, Nikki started working as a television reporter for XLTV in March 2008. She has interviewed everyone from Kathy Hilton to the mayor of Los Angeles, and covered The Bet Awards 2008 with XLTV. She will also be featured in an episode of Entourage, Season Five, The Season Finale. Nikki DuBose has been linked to Mexican actor Rodolfo Jimenez and pro tennis player Mark Phillioppoussis.

Charity

While authoring a book about her childhood in an abusive home, Nikki decided to do more to help children and abuse and in 2008, GAB was formed. GAB stands for Girls Against aBuse and is a non profit organization dedicated to raising awareness on the subject of child abuse, while educating young women everywhere how to gain confidence and instill self worth in themselves after going through an abusive situation, just as Nikki had to do growing up. Nikki has also partnered with Do Something and Charity Buzz organizations, in which she was featured in a "Win a Dinner with Nikki DuBose" with all the money going to help young people. She has recently been recognized by her efforts in the Wall Street Journal.
