Early life

Rubik lived in Greece, Canada, and South Africa as a child, and was introduced to modeling while attending a British high school in Paris. She wanted to finish her schooling before officially becoming a model, and so only worked on school holidays.

Career

Rubik began her modeling career shortly after graduating from high school. She has been featured on the covers of various magazines, including Vogue Germany, Vogue Paris, Numéro, Flair, Nylon and Elle. She has modeled for such designers as Givenchy, Chloé, Christian Dior, Hermès, Valentino, Gucci, Fendi, Missoni, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren and many mores. She has also done haute couture for Valentino, Chanel, and Elie Saab.

Currently Anja can be seen in campaigns for Balmain, Chloé, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta, Versace, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferrè, Dsquared2, Jimmy Choo, Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Bottega Veneta, Estéè Lauder, Gap and many more.
